Farben sind Geschmackssache und bei nichts trennen sich die Meinungen schneller, als bei den Ansichten über Farben.

Weil dem so ist, bieten wir alle Modelle in mehreren Farbvarianten an. Dabei achten wir natürlich stets darauf, dass sich auch hier geschmackvolles zusammenfindet. Es darf schon auch einmal ein krasses gruen auf ein knalliges gelb treffen. Nur muss es eben zusammenpassen und geschmackvoll wirken. Und es muss natürlich auf das Design der Brille abgestimmt sein.

Bei der riesigen Auswahl an Farbkompositionen ist für jeden Geschmack das richtige dabei, ganz gleich ob es klassisch, edel, modern oder flippig sein soll.

Teilweise verwenden wir bis zu 5 verschiedene Farben auf einer einzigen Brille.

Nach einem passenden galvanischen Untergrund wird zumeist die Grundfarbe mit der Spruehpistole aufgetragen, die die Gesamtcharakteristik der Farbgebung bestimmt.

 Alle weiteren Farben werden dann von Hand mit dem Pinsel oder mit der Nadel aufgemalt. Logisch, dass das schon Kunsthandwerk ist und dass nicht jeder unsere Brillen bemalen kann.

Damit Sie auch lange Freude an den Farben Ihrer Brille haben, verwenden wir fuer unsere Hochwert-Serien Einbrennlacke auf Wasserbasis und die Brille wandert mehrmals in den Brennofen. Das gibt nicht nur Sicherheit für die Haltbarkeit der Farben, sondern beugt auch Allergien vor. Denn aus eingebrannten Lacken entweichen keine Schadstoffe mehr, ganz im Gegensatz zu Mehrkomponenten-Lacken. Zur zusätzlichen Sicherheit gibt es obendrauf noch einen eingebrannten Allergieschutzlack.

Opinions split if it comes to colors. If 2 colors are the choice there will be 3 opinions which one is good. Since we know that we offer a wide range of color-designs on our specs. We create several surface-designs for each style which go from precious classic to modern fancy. There are no limits and we combine a shiny red also with a shiny blue if it looks interesting and tasteful. For those who don’t like such an agressive coloration we have it then in black and grey. If classic or fancy or inbetween: the surface-design must fit to the specs design and should underline somehow the characteristics of it.

When we do the color-combinations  we make sure that the colors not only look good but that they are perfect in any aspect and that means also enviromental, technical and health aspects. Most of the colors are handpainted (with brush or needle) over an adequate galvanic grounding.

On our high-end frames, each color is seperately baked onto the frame since these are waterbased colors. As a finish we put on an anti-allergic coating (also baked in). These complex processes guarantee a very good quality of the surface, minimize the possibility of allergic reactions and look perfect. Besides that they are enviroment-friend ly like no other coloration-proce ss for spectacles.

Natuerlich kann Farbe auch stoerend wirken, insbesondere dann, wenn sie mit anderen Farben kombiniert werden soll, die absolut nicht dazu passen.  Daher ist es wichtig, die Brille nicht mit einer dominanten Farbe zu “erschlagen”, sondern sie partiell in verschiedenen Toenen zu gestalten. Das hat zum einen den Vorteil, dass fast immer eine Farbe auf der Brille ist, die sich zur Bekleidung kombinieren laesst und zum anderen, dass eventuelle Disharmonien mit der Bekleidung weitgehend unauffaellig bleiben. Abgesehen davon erhoeht es die Wertigkeit der Brille ungemein und es wird Spannung im Gesicht geschaffen, anstatt es mit Farbe zu erschlagen.

Letztendlich muss jeder seinen eigenen Geschmack verwirklichen können, wenn es um anspruchsvolle Gesichtskosmetik geht. Die Wuensche gehen da oft weit auseinander und reichen von unauffaellig gedeckten Farbarrangements bis hin zu Neon-Knallfarben mit Signalcharakter. Deshalb bieten wir eine Auswahl, die keine farblichen Wuensche aussen vor laesst wenn es darum geht, sich einmal wieder neu zu “gestalten”.

The colors are the part of the specs which give them their final identity. Besides the fact that our surface-designs are considered to be artwork (which you can actually carry around with you and show it to anybody who looks in your eyes ;-)) they will help you to create your very personal style.

Colors can be disturbing, particularly if they shall be combined with other colors which do not harmonize. It is not a good combination if you combine a metallic blue spectacle with a flashy turquois dress. For that reason it is a good idea not to color the specs in one flashy tone only but to design them partially with different color-tones. The advantage is that there will always be a color on the frame that can match to the dress of choice. Another advantage is that this creates more interest in the face instead of crushing it with a one-color overdose.

Finally it is your personal choice how you design your eyes in your very personal way. We try to cover all the possible demands and add on top of that the designs which nobody would have ever thought of.
